Kentucky Soon Awaits Us!
The amount of time that is left until we depart for Kentucky is dwindling quickly! We had our first day of class yesterday. We talked about some important information for the trip, and we watched our first informational video on Appalachia. We are all anxious to go, and the videos we are watching are helping us to understand the culture we will see while we are in Kentucky. Ted introduced the blog to us yesterday as well, and I think it is a great way to document our time in the Appalachia region. Our class is from 9-12 everyday until we leave on May 10th. Ted informed us that there is a lot of information to cover before we depart, so the entire three hour time period will be used. We are all excited to head down to Kentucky, and we now just have to make it through these next three weeks on campus.
